Richmond, Virginia’s ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY is set to release their new album, Open Fire, on March 6th via Relapse Records.  This will be the first effort to feature new singer, Kyle Thomas (ex-EXHORDER/ex-FLOODGATE).

Band drummer Bryan Cox comments on the album: “We worked harder on this record than on anything we’ve ever done and grew a ton as a band in the process of doing so; including hooking up with Kyle, who is absolutely the best vocalist I’ve ever worked with. We had a ’no bullshit’ policy in mind when we started writing Open Fire and I think it shows. It’s straight forward, honest and mean, and that’s what we were going for from the start. I’m very excited about it!”

A spring tour is currently in the works.
