Greece’s longstanding black/death band SEPTICFLESH have been announced as the official opener for the upcoming CRADLE OF FILTH and SATYRICON tour this January and February! The full North American tour rampages through the US and Canada from mid-January through the end of February.

I saw the show last night at the Starland Ballroom. Septic Flesh was quite good, but Satyricon absolutely killed. I had no idea who these guys were, and I was a fan after 2 songs. Incredible. COF was a bit of a let down. The drummer (fantastic) holds the whole thing together. Underwhelmed by COF. Will see the tour again in NY to see Satyricon.
I saw the show in Denver last night, and I thought Septic Flesh absolutely stole the whole evening. They really blew me away. I was expecting to be equally impressed by Satyricon, but to me they were a let down. I can’t believe that Septic Flesh has been around since 1990 and they are not as popular as the other two bands or even much more. I felt they should have been headlining.
Is Frost on the US tour this time around?
Joe- Yes! Frost is on the tour.
Matt- I saw the tour again in NYC last week, and I was able to see the whole Septic Flesh set. Yeah, they are remarkable: they really did a great job. Maybe a preference thing, but Satyricon killed, then hung out in the lobby to sign/greet. A really great show.
