In celebration of MOTÖRHEAD 35 years on the road, on January 24th Motörhead Music/UDR is proud to present: The Wörld Is Ours-Vol 1 – Everywhere Further Than Everyplace Else, a blistering DVD containing some of the finest moments from the band’s last tour, including the entire performance from Chile’s Teatro Caupolican, shot and filmed in classic black and white by Banger Films and Sam Dunn.

Songs from the shows in Manchester and New York are also included on the triple-disc digipack set, along with a series of extensive, in depth and exclusive interviews with the band, a bonus double live CD of the Chile show (including selected tracks from NY & Manchester), plus a photographed booklet documenting life on the road during the tour.

INTO ETERNITY Announce New Members; Videos Posted

INTO ETERNITY have recruited new members Steve Bolognese (ex-BEYOND THE EMBRACE) on drums and Justin Bender on guitars.  Guitarist/vocalist Tim Roth commented on their new recruits:

“We are really excited to announce Steve and Justin as permanent members. Both will be hitting the road with us in January. They figured all the music out by ear, so I didn’t have to teach them anything. That just blew me away. Steve can do rapid-fire double-bass at 240 beats per minute, so the drumming on the new album won’t be a problem for him. Look for us on the road in the U.S. this spring. See you soon.”

As mentioned, INTO ETERNITY will hit the road for a short headlining run after the new year.  Dates are as follows:

01/13 – The Exchange – Regina, SK
01/20 – The Showbox – Seattle, WA (Seattle Metal Festival)
01/21 – The Lucky Bar – Victoria, BC
01/23 – The Stetson – Calgary, AB
01/24 – Mead Hall – Edmonton, AB

The band recently made available a selection of videos on their YouTube site.  Included are the music video for “Severe Emotional Distress” off their latest album, The Scattering of Ashes, and a live version from their recent run on Gigantour:

ARCH ENEMY Report From Gigantour

ARCH ENEMY made their triumphant return to the U.S. this past week on Gigantour sharing the main stage with such genre heavyweights as MEGADETH and OPETH. The group usually takes the stage around 5:30 PM each night. This also looks to be their last tour in support of their highly acclaimed album, Doomsday Machine, which debuted at #87 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

Angela Gossow (vocals) checks in with the following update, “Gigantour is going great. Dave Mustaine greeted everybody in person the first day – a wonderful gesture, which certainly sets the tone for this tour: Nice people, relaxed and friendly backstage atmosphere and some kick ass metal. It’s a brilliant lineup well worth getting your lazy butt off the couch! So get moving and bang that head. We are also doing signings every show at the FYE booth, so be sure not to miss this opportunity to get your stuff signed! See you there.”

ARCH ENEMY‘s double disc DVD set, Live Apocalypse, is also now available. A new E-card is now available that features two videos taken from the DVD for the tracks “Ravenous” and “My Apocalypse,” along with a new photo gallery. You can view the E-card by clicking here.

ARCH ENEMY Live Apocalypse DVD Now Available; Prepare For Gigantour

ARCH ENEMY‘s highly anticipated double disc DVD set, Live Apocalypse, is now available just in time for the group’s triumphant return to the U.S. on Gigantour this September. A new e-card is now available that features two videos taken from the DVD for the tracks, “Ravenous” and “My Apocalypse,” along with a new photo gallery. You can view the e-card by clicking the following link: http://www.centurymedia.com/ae_liveapocalypse/

Mike Amott (guitars) describes his thoughts on the DVD: “The Live Apocalypse DVD shaped up to be an ultra cool 2-disc affair, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with it. The main show is from The Forum in London, UK (December ’04), and we also have footage from Manchester, UK in December ’05 (there are 3 songs from that show). There are tons of extras and special features, as there should be. The artwork was also handled by Niklas Sundin of Cabin Fever Media. Andy Sneap‘s audio mix (5.1 and stereo) is so heavy; it almost blew my speakers out! He really captured the live feel and power of the show; it’s like you are right there in the audience. Brilliant! This DVD crushes some of my favorite metal DVDs from my own collection – and I have a sick collection.”

The Gigantour trek, which features the legendary MEGADETH alongside LAMB OF GOD, OPETH and labelmates INTO ETERNITY, among others, will be the group’s fourth and final U.S. run in support of their highly acclaimed album, Doomsday Machine, which debuted at #87 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
