CAVALERA CONSPIRACY Announce Sophomore Album, Blunt Force Trauma

Once again, anticipation is high as ex-SEPULTURA brothers, Max and Iggor Cavalera, are set to release CAVALERA CONSPIRACY‘s second album, Blunt Force Trauma, in March of 2011. The follow-up to 2008′s Inflikted includes participation from SOULFLY guitarist, Marc Rizzo, and FIREBALL MINISTRY‘s Johny Chow on bass.

Bobby Burns Leaves SOULFLY; Johnny Chow To Fill In For Upcoming Tours

SOULFLY has confirmed the departure of bassist Bobby Burns, which he revealed on Twitter yesterday. In the band’s confirmation, it was stated that the split was completely amicable.

For upcoming touring events, the band has recruited FIREBALL MINISTRY‘s Johny Chow, who also plays with SOULFLY‘s Max Cavalera in CAVALERA CONSPIRACY.

Second Annual METAL Art Show to Take Place November 14th in Hollywood

On November 14th, The Congregation Gallery will be hosting the second annual METAL Art Show, curated by Cam Rackman. Over 50 original paintings and sculptures by Vincent Castiglia, Max Cavalera, Johny Chow, Chris Peters, Nikko Hurtado, Christopher Conte, Cam Rackam, Cam De Leon, Axis, Zac Shavrick, Krystopher Sapp, Vince Locke, Joachim Luetke, and many more will be showcased.

Artists from TOOL, METALLICA, MARILYN MANSON, SLAYER, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, DAATH, BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, DIMMU BORGIR, ARCH ENEMY, MESHUGGAH, KREATOR, KORN, AC/DC, CANNIBAL CORPSE, and CAVALERA CONSPIRACY will have new work on display, as well as an array of the world’s finest talent in metal themed art.

The event, which takes place Saturday, November 14th, will feature performances from THE DEVIL’S ORCHESTRA and THE DIRTY LOUNGE. Doors open at 9:00pm. The Congregation Gallery is located at 7569 Melrose Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90046.
