NEURAXIS Prepares for Upcoming Tours

Montreal technical death metallers NEURAXIS are currently prepping for back-to-back tours. First up is the “Montreal Assault” tour, which will see the band play alongside DESPISED ICON, CARNIFEX, THE PLASMARIFLE and labelmates BENEATH THE MASSACRE.

“I’m looking forward to the Montreal Assault tour, mainly since we have been friends with almost all the bands for so many years now,” says guitarist Rob Milley. “Some may know that Alex (Erian, DESPISED ICON vocalist) was once our drummer, and Maynard (Moore, THE PLASMARIFLE vocalist) was once our vocalist, so for me it’s like coming full-circle touring with these guys. BENEATH THE MASSACRE have always been close with us and I’m looking forward to meeting the dudes in CARNIFEX. Come out to this tour and have a good time with all of us.”

Montreal Assault” will be quickly followed by a tour alongside the legendary CANNIBAL CORPSE. NEURAXIS says they’re honored to have been hand-picked as support.

“To have the privilege to tour with such legends is truly an honor,” says vocalist Alex Leblanc. “I’ve been listening to CANNIBAL CORPSE forever, and I just can’t wait to tear it up every night and share the stage with these icons.”

NEURAXIS to Tour North America with THE FACELESS

Montreal’s technical death metallers NEURAXIS have confirmed the band’s first return to the United States since 2006 in support of NEURAXIS‘ latest album, The Thin Line Between. The band will join THE FACELESS, ABIGAIL WILLIAMS, DECREPIT BIRTH, and VEIL OF MAYA across North America, acting as direct support in Quebec City, Montreal, and Toronto.

“Now that the album is out and we’ve destroyed most of Canada and the buzz seems incredible, it’s now time for NEURAXIS to invade the US on The Planetary Duality tour,” guitarist Rob Milley says. “It’s a diverse and brutal tour package, we hope you come out early and catch our set.”

Since the July release of The Thin Line Between, NEURAXIS has been staying busy playing Canadian shows, including the Summer Slaughter Canada Tour in August. Footage from the recording process of the album can be seen at the band’s MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/neuraxis), along with tracks from the band’s entire catalog. An e-card with three songs from The Thin Line Between can be seen here (http://www.prostheticrecords.com/ecards/neuraxis/).

Recently, NEURAXIS shot footage for a video for the track “Darkness Prevails” from The Thin Line Between with director Chris Alsop. The finalized, edited video will be available shortly, both online and at video outlets.
