IRON REAGAN Post New Music Video; Fall Tour Starts Tomorrow

Iron Reagan

Crossover beasts, IRON REAGAN, have just posted their new music video for “Cycle of Violence.”  The song comes off their debut full-length, Worse Than Dead, on A389 and Magic Bullet Records released earlier this year.

The band has also announced a massive fall tour with GWAR, WHITECHAPEL and BAND OF ORCS that starts October 2nd and sees them playing throughout North America until November 17th.  Dates can be found here. Not a band to stay quiet, IRON REAGAN will hit the road again in December for a week of tour dates with POWER TRIP and MAMMOTH GRINDER.

WHITECHAPEL to Commence Recording of New Album

Tennessee’s WHITECHAPEL are set to enter Audiohammer Studios in Orlando, Florida to begin recording the follow-up to 2008’s This is Exile album. The band will be teaming up with producer Jason Suecof, who has done production for TRIVIUM, ALL THAT REMAINS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, CHIMAIRA, DEVILDRIVER, and many more.

Guitarist and founding member Alex Wade comments: “We’re really excited to announce that we will be hitting the studio in January with a producer who needs no introduction, Jason Suecof. Suecof has produced some of the most brutal metal albums to date and we are excited for him to get his hands on our new material to make it the heaviest music we’ve created thus far.

“Also, Dusty Peterson has been signed on to handle the artwork duties. His dark, yet meticulously detailed style of hand drawn artwork is sure to bring out a truly vivid and brutal masterpiece. We really wanted our artwork for the record to speak as loudly for us as the music we are creating, thus, Dusty was picked for his unbelievably realistic and detailed hand drawn style. In this day and age where downloading a CD is as easy as typing the cd’s name into a search bar, we wanted to make the artwork something creative and special for the fans who actually purchase the CD. Almost like owning a piece of art.

“As for the title and track listing, you’ll just have to wait for that as the CD comes closer to completion.”

BEHEMOTH Posts First Single Off Evangelion

Evangelion was mixed in Miloco Studios by Colin Richardson and will be unleashed in the US on August 11th via Metal Blade Records and in Europe on August 9th via Nuclear Blast.

In support of the band’s 9th full-length studio album Evangelion, BEHEMOTH will be touring on what is sure to be this summer’s largest and most bone crushing metal festival; The Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival with mighty SLAYER and MARILYN MANSON as co-headliners. BEHEMOTH will be conquering the Hot Topic stage alongside label mates CANNIBAL CORPSE, THE BLACK DHALIA MURDER, JOB FOR A COWBOY and WHITECHAPEL, on over 25 dates this summer so make sure to catch the masters of blackened death metal live when they come to a city near you.
