Judging by the following videos, it looks like Norwegian TV is a lot more open about featuring extreme metal on television than here in the U.S. Back in 2004, Norwegian industrial extreme metal band, RED HARVEST (RIP), performed live on NRK2 in 2004 to promote their then latest album, Internal Punishment Programs. They were a good, unique band that never quite got their due when they were still around. Cold, dark, apocalyptic atmospheres. Definitely check them out.
