ARCTURUS have confirmed that DIMMU BORGIR bassist Simen Hestnaes to replace the recently departed Øyvind Hægeland (SPIRAL ARCHITECT). Hestnaes, who previously lended his voice to three tracks on ARCTURUS’ critically acclaimed La Masquerade Infernale album, now for the second time is joining a band in which Garm (a.k.a. Kristoffer Rygg of ULVER) was previously the singer of–the first being BORKNAGAR.
The band hav ealso secured a record deal with Season of Mist. The Norwegian outfit are tentatively scheduled to release a new album for the label in August, which will likely be followed by a European tour.
