BAL-SAGOTH drummer, Dave Mackintosh, will be leaving the band to focus on his other musical endeavors following their appearance at this year’s Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany (August 4th-8th). BAL-SAGOTH bid Dave a happy farewell and wish him the best of luck in the future. A replacement search will begin shortly.
Meanwhile, the band are wrapping up songwriting for their sixth album. Recording will be scheduled shortly with a tentative release date for the end of 2004 via Nuclear Blast. BAL-SAGOTH promise a “barbaric, baroque, [and] bombastic” affair.
