BEHEMOTH Recruit Orion; New Music On the Horizon

July 4, 2003

Poland’s BEHEMOTH have recruited new session bass player in Orion who is replacing the recently departed Novy, who as recently reported has joined VADER as a permanent member. Novy served as BEHEMOTH’s session bassist for the past three years, but according to BEHEMOTH mainman, Nergal, “he simply got a better offer from countrymates VADER. In BEHEMOTH he was just a session one so I perfectly understand his decision.”

Meanwhile, BEHEMOTH aren’t laying idle as they are already hard at work on new songs for their next full-length album tentatively titled Nephilim Rising. But by summer’s end, a strictly limited-edition MCD entitled Conjuration, containing new songs and previously unreleased material, will likely see the light of day.

Lastly, here are summer summer festivals BEHEMOTH will be performing at:

Jul. 12 - Tuska Festival ??" Helsinki, FIN
Jul. 18 - Nuclear Storm Festival - CZR
Aug. 09 ??" Party.San Open Air - Bad Berka, GER
