Polish extreme metal titans, BEHEMOTH, are preparing to invade North America once again on the highly anticipated Blackest of the Black tour, which kicks off in San Diego on Sept. 30th. BEHEMOTH will join an all-star cast which includes DANZIG, CHIMAIRA, HIMSA, MORTIIS and THE AGONY SCENE for their third U.S. tour in support of their most recent critically acclaimed record, Demigod. The group will immediately embark on a lengthy Canadian headlining tour following this massive U.S. trek. BEHEMOTH also just completed a stunning new video for the track, “Slaves Shall Serve.” Look for it to make its debut on Fuse’s Metal Asylum and MTV2’s Headbangers Ball late this month.
Nergal (vocals, guitars) further describes his thoughts on the upcoming trek: “We were honored to be a part of the first edition of Blackest of the Black festivals in 2003 but back then we opened for the whole festival package and this time we will be able to play a 30-minute set right before CHIMAIRA and DANZIG. It’s very exciting to be headed back to U.S. again, but what really thrills me the most is the fact that BEHEMOTH is going to share the stage with one of my all time favorite artists, Glenn Danzig. This tour is going to be huge, I can assure you of that.”
