DARK TRANQUILLITY will make their return to the U.S. this week alongside OPETH and THE DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND. The trek, which kicks off on February 15th and runs through March 21st, will be the group’s second U.S. run in support of Character, their highly acclaimed latest album.
Mikael Stanne (vocals) further describes his excitement over the upcoming tour:
“Well, the packing is now complete and we are heading back to the U.S. These six degenerates from the foggiest, snowiest and coldest part of Gothenburg will cross over the Atlantic tomorrow and we are bringing the metal! This will be a great one for sure, touring with the ever amazing OPETH, the one and only Devin Townsend and DEVILDRIVER. Doesn’t get much better than that. We have been plotting and scheming about setlists and such and we believe we have something very special in store for you all, both for the supporting dates and especially for the headline shows.
