Blabbermouth.net has reported that DIMMU BORGIR have recruited Danish drummer Reno Kiilerich (PANZERCHRIST, VILE, EXMORTEM) for the band’s upcoming live appearances. This comes many weeks after the untimely dismissal of former drummer Nicholas Barker where many-a-rumour surfaced that such drummers as Asgeir Mickelson (BORKNAGAR, SPIRAL ARCHITECT) and Gene Hoglan (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, DARK ANGEL) would be filling the vacated spot.
Kiilerich’s status as a session drummer currently includes the band’s upcoming Ozzfest trek and the preceding European and South American dates. Dates are as follows:
