New Orleans’ GOATWHORE have announced that they will be playing four shows next month before they hit the studio for the recording of their next album. The band recently moved to Phoenix, AZ after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans.
Here’s what the band had to say:
“We know it has been quite some time since updates were made so we wanted to fill everyone in on what’s going on with GOATWHORE. We have currently relocated to Phoenix, AZ for a temporary time to finish work on our next album to be released through Metal Blade Records in mid-2006. Things are pretty crazy in our hometown of New Orleans, LA still (since the devastation of Hurricane Katrina), so we decided to pack-up and head out west to finish writing on the new material. We are currently staying with some close friends out here in Phoenix and we will have a few shows in the beginning of December to help our current situation out. Please come out and show some support and hope to see you while we are out this way. More information will follow once we have a scheduled studio date, which would be around the end part of this year.”
