ANTHRAX guitarist, Scott Ian, has revealed that the band will be touring the US this summer. Dates are not yet fully confirmed; however, the first leg will run from July 29th to August 30th and will include LAMB OF GOD and E.TOWN CONCRETE as support acts. A second leg will feature LACUNA COIL and E.TOWN CONCRETE. Here’s what Scott had to say in an offical post on the band’s website:

“The dates are extensive. We’re hitting everywhere. We’re trying our best to keep the ticket prices down too. We’ll be doing a longer set than we did with MOTORHEAD [on their previous US tour]. We’ve been working on ‘Cadillac Rock Box‘, ‘Catharsis‘, ‘Be All End All‘, and a couple of other old ones that I’ll leave as a surprise.

“I’m looking forward to our second trip around the states. If it’s anything like this run in Europe, it will be great. Now that the record [We’ve Come For You All] has been out and you’ve had a chance to live with the songs, it will be that much better. I can see it here. The reactions to “Safe Home” and “Superhero” are so much bigger than back in March when the record first came out. “Superhero” has the crowd jumping as one. “Safe Home” is a huge sing-along.”

Tour dates will be posted as soon as there is an officially confirmed list. Stay tuned.
