MARDUK have already begun writing some new songs for their next studio album, according to guitarist Morgan Steinmeyer Håkansson. The three or four new songs have been described as “the most violent creations the band [has] ever done,” continuing along the lines of their Panzer Division Marduk album.
The band will also be making their very first appearance in Austraila on August 22nd for the Destruction of Oz festival in Melbourne. Further autumn tour dates are currently in the works.
In other news, Morgan and bassist B. War have completed the first full-length album of their other band, DEVILS WHOREHOUSE. The album, which was recorded at Abyss Studios in Sweden, will carry the title Revolution Unorthodox. Also look for a reissue of their Howling mini album that will feature some bonus tracks and be packaged in a limited edition digipak.
