Grindcore heavyweights, NASUM, have announced the addition of Jon “Elle” Lindkvist (bass) and Urban Skytt (guitar) into the lineup. Lindkvist fills the void left by Jesper Liveröd, who parted ways with the band to focus on his other band BURST. Skytt becomes a permanent member having previously played with NASUM as a live session guitarist.

A short nugget about Lindkvist posted on the band’s official website reads as follows: “Apart from having the exact same initials as Jesper (J.L.) and also auditioning in the exact same t-shirt design (NEUROSIS), Jon is all about grindcore. Playing guitar in the excellent SAYYADINA (and also playing in countless bands such as VICTIMS, ACCURSED, OUTLAST and probably a thousand more), he knows how to grind. Other than that he might not teach children how to worship Satan but how to wear a condom, since he works as a sex educator.”
