Prosthetic Records have announced the addition of Montreal, Canada’s BENEATH THE MASSACRE to the label’s roster. Combining a heavy-handed technical death metal prowess, skillful guitar shredding, and a devastating and grinding guttural vocal delivery, BENEATH THE MASSACRE will release its Prosthetic debut in the fall of 2006. “We’re excited and can’t wait to start working with people at Prosthetic Records,” the band says in a statement. “The new partnership and the release of a new album means a lot to us.”
The forthcoming record will be the band’s full-length debut and the follow-up to 2005’s five-track debut EP, Evidence of Inequity, an album that has received high praise from metal press and extreme metal fans alike. Tracking for the band’s new album has already begun with producer Yannick St-Amand (DESPISED ICON, ION DISSONANCE) at Yan’s Room Studio, and is set to contain 10 tracks. Mixing will be handled by Pierre Rémillard (CRYPTOPSY) at Wild Studio and mastering will be completed by Alan Douches (SHADOWS FALL, UNEARTH).
