According to MTV.com, Norwegian black metallers, SATYRICON, have inked a deal with EatUrMusic, a label run by SYSTEM OF A DOWN’s Daron Malakian. They plan to release the band’s latest album, Volcano, which has been without a proper North American release despite the album having been out in Europe since last year.

“They’re one of the bands in the scene who are keeping the torch lit, and I respect what they do,” Malakian said recently. “And the album I’m going to put out [Volcano] is really powerful. It’s more accessible than the last SATYRICON stuff. It’s got a lot of just regular, traditional metal-type things going on.”
