SATYRICON’s latest album Volcano garnered some impressive marks as the band has won four awards out of as many nominations in three of Norway’s biggest awards. The band won Osloprisen’s “Album of the Year” award, two Alarm Awards for “Best Live Act” and “Song of the Year” (for their song “Fuel for Hatred”), and Spellemannsprisen’s for “Best Metal Album” (Norway’s Grammy equivalent).
