SOILWORK are currently in the studio tracking vocals for their highly anticipated new album. This follow-up to last year’s breakthrough Natural Born Chaos, is due in April through Nuclear Blast Records. Lead singer/screamer, Björn “Speed” Strid offered the following text regarding the band’s progress:

“Hi everyone! I’ve been recording the vocals now for one week at Studio Fredman and everything is running pretty fast. As [STRAPPING YOUNG LAD frontman] Devin [Townsend, producer of Natural Born Chaos] is not in the studio this time to push me, I have to push myself really hard to give the best possible contribution to the album. I have [producer] Fredrik Nordström’s outstanding assistant to help me, which works out really good. I feel more comfortable than ever in the studio and I’m very happy with the result as this album has been a REAL challenge for me and the guys.”

SOILWORK has yet to settle on an album titled however they have a revealed a few songtitles:

“Downfall 24”
“Brickwalker”
“Cranking the Sirens”
“Departure Plan”
“Overload”
“Rejection Role”
