THE HAUNTED Begin Working On New Material

THE HAUNTED have begun rehearsing and writing material for their next studio album. The band is planning to enter Ant Farm Studios and is eyeing a October 2006 release. Here is official word from bassists Jonas Bjorler:

“We have now been rehearsing & writing on new material for about a month and everything is going really well. This week we made 4 new song ideas, and we now have a total of 8. Finally, we got ourselves a computer in the rehearsal room, and that makes the whole process so much easier. We can now easily mix, edit and move things around. It saves us a lot of time, and we can for once hear what we’re doing.

“We are planning on entering Ant Farm Studios in Aarhus, Denmark with producer Tue Madsen in May. Prior to this, Per will record the drums in Puk Studios in Randers, Denmark, during the first week of May. The vocals will probably be recorded at Studio Fredman. The plan is to have everything mixed and mastered in June.

We are looking at a possible late October 2006 release. More news to come soon…”
