THE (INTERNATIONAL) NOISE CONSPIRACY are currently in the studio recording their forthcoming new album, Armed Love. The band are splitting time between studios in Los Angeles and their native Sweden with producer Rick Rubin at the helm.
“I think they’re a great live band - they have incredible stage presence,” commented Rick Rubin. “And we’re helping make an album that conveys as much as they have onstage on record, which I don’t think has been done before.”
Armed Love is the follow-up to 2001’s A New Morning, Changing Weather album and will be their first for Rubin’s American Recordings label (Burning Heart Records will still retain the rights for Europe.
“We are very happy working with Rick Rubin,” reads a statement from the band. “It’s an honour and a privilege to be working with the man who produced some of the greatest albums of all time. We are looking forward to a long and creative partnership with Mr. Rubin and with our collective efforts a new T(I)NC album will be released in the not too distant future. The struggle continues.”
On the touring front, the band are confirmed to return to play this year’s Coachella festival in California. THE (INTERNATIONAL) NOISE CONSPIRACY are also confirmed to rock the main stage of this summers Vans Warped Tour alongside TAKING BACK SUNDAY, THURSDAY, NOFX, BAD RELIGION, amongst others.
