QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE have hand-picked Norwegian rockers TURBONEGRO to support the band on their upcoming US tour, marking their first stateside shows since 1997 before the band separated. QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE recently paid homage to TURBONEGRO having covered their song “Back to Dungaree High” on the TURBONEGRO tribute album, Alpha Motherfuckers. The recently reunited TURBONEGRO will join the QUEENS for the following dates:

Meanwhile, TURBONEGRO‘s forthcoming “comeback” album, entitled Scandinavian Leather, is set for a worldwide release date of April 28th via Burning Heart in Europe and Epitaph in the US. The album’s cover art will be handled by renowned artist, Klaus Voormann, who was responsible for THE BEATLESRevolver album cover. Remarkably, this will also be his first album cover since Revolver.
