TYPE O NEGATIVE Tear Up The U.S. Charts

TYPE O NEGATIVE have made a strong statement on the Billboard Charts with their new album, Life Is Killing Me, which has debuted in the top half of the sales charts.

Life Is Killing Me, the band’s first album of new material in over four years, debuted at #39 on the Billboard Top 200, scanning over 27,000 copies in its first week. The album also debuted at #7 on Billboard’s Hard Rock Chart. Four years ago the band’s last studio full length, World Coming Down, ranked at #38 on the Top 200 chart in its debut week. The band are no strangers to RIAA certifications either, as Bloody Kisses and October Rust have earned Platinum and Gold sales status respectively.

On the radio front, Life Is Killing Me is continues to slay metal radio, as the album landed at #1 across the board on the metal radio trade charts this week, grabbing the highly coveted #1 slots on FMQB’s Metal Detector, R&R’s Rock Specialty Chart, CMJ Loud Rock and CMJ Crucial Spins.
