February 1, 2012 — Doom super group BEREFT, featuring members of INTRONAUT, ABYSMAL DAWN, NATIONAL SUNDAY LAW and ex-THE FACELESS has signed to The End Records. The debut album Leichenhaus, a conceptual album thematically revolving around a waiting mortuary, is due April 24, 2012.
September 7, 2011 — BEREFT, a Los Angeles based doom band featuring Sacha Dunable of INTRONAUT/GRAVITON (guitars, backing vocals), Derek Donley of NATIONAL SUNDAY LAW/GRAVITON (drums, backing vocals), Charles Elliot of ABYSMAL DAWN (vocals, guitars), and Derek Rydquist formerly of THE FACELESS (bass, backing vocals), have posted a new song, “Withered Efflorescence”, on their Facebook page.
July 20, 2009 — Swedish death metal graduates, IN FLAMES, have announced a North American headlining tour in support of its latest album, A Sense of Purpose. The band, which was hand-picked by MEGADETH for last year’s North American Gigantour dates, will be joined on this tour by BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, and THE FACELESS.
January 28, 2009 — Montreal technical death metallers NEURAXIS are currently prepping for back-to-back tours. First up is the “Montreal Assault” tour, which will see the band play alongside DESPISED ICON, CARNIFEX, THE PLASMARIFLE and labelmates BENEATH THE MASSACRE.
January 24, 2009 — The third annual California Metalfest, presented by Nederlander Concerts and Headbang For The Highway, is confirmed for March 28th at The Grove of Anaheim.
