August 16, 2013 — With the recent news that EMPEROR will reunite for Wacken Open Air next year (as well as Bloodstock 2014), it got me in the EMPEROR/EMPEROR-related mood.
December 15, 2007 — Regain Records have made an official announcement recognizing founding member Infernus as the holder of the “GORGOROTH” band name. Infernus has been in dispute with other members Gaahl (vocals) and King ov Hell (bass) who claim ownership of the band name as well as the fact that they kicked Infernus out of the band.
October 6, 2007 — Legendary British death metal band, CARCASS, will reunite for next year’s Wacken Open Air festival. Bassist/vocalist, Jeff Walker, issued the following statement on behalf of the band:
September 27, 2006 — Norway’s IMMORTAL have announced two exclusive reunion show in the U.S. in addition to their previously announced headlining appearance at Germany’s Wacken Open Air 2007. The band officially disbanded in 2003 following the release of their last studio album, Sons of Northern Darkness.
August 10, 2006 — Notodden, Norway: After triumphantly headlining the annual Wacken Open Air Festival and completing recent capacity performances in America, EMPEROR have announced two additional performances for 2006.
