Duff McKagan's LOADED Post Video Clips, Prepare for European Tour

September 12, 2008

As the hard rock world eagerly anticipates the much talked about new effort from the Seattle-based sonic force Duff McKagan’s LOADED, the group has gone ahead and posted an in-depth, four-part miniseries (shot by King of Hearts Promotions) giving fans a look into the making of their new album. These clips further showcase the band’s undeniable songwriting chemistry and overall dynamic personalities. It’s not often that you get to take a trip with Duff to the grocery store and see how the legendary, ex-GUNS ‘N ROSES and current VELVET REVOLVER bassist works in the studio. This is an all-out assault of pure rock and punk infused fury that pulls no punches, view all of the webisodes here:

Duff McKagan’s LOADED has returned after a lengthy hiatus with their much anticipated, new full-length release. The quartet has signed a worldwide deal with Century Media Records and a limited edition, five-song EP, Wasted Heart, will be issued later this month in conjunction with their upcoming UK headlining tour, which also marks the band’s first trip to this territory (see below for dates). The new offering was recorded by Martin Feveyear (THE PRESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, KINGS OF LEON) and the full-length album is set for an early 2009 release.

Be sure to visit to check out the new track, “No More,” (from the Wasted Heart EP) and a new video clip for the track will be posted in the coming weeks. Duff also has a column in the Seattle Weekly. Read his latest installment where he states his utter contempt for the much over-used term “rock star”:

Duff McKagan’s LOADED was formed in 1999 and has morphed several times, releasing two albums: 1999’s Live Episode and 2001’s Dark Days. The current line-up features drummer Geoff Reading (NEW AMERICAN SHAME, GREEN APPLE QUICKSTEP), bassist Jeff Rouse and guitarist Mike Squires (both formerly of ALIEN CRIME SYNDICATE). This tight-knit group of rock n’ roll brothers bring their high-energy to every stage, from Seattle’s Sunset Tavern to Tokyo’s NK Hall.
