January 15, 2016 — When looking back at 2015, the only thing that seems to matter is the passing of Lemmy Kilmister. Of course losing Phil “Philthy Animal” Taylor in November was sad but Lemmy was on another level - one of the pillars of the entire rock ’n roll universe.
November 11, 2015 — Three years ago, CRYPTOPSY retook their rightful place atop the extreme metal pantheon with Cryptopsy. The band have since become a four-piece after the latest departure of founding guitarist Jon Levasseur.

March 5, 2013 — One of the coolest death metal debut albums in recent years, gets the live treatment with Living Flesh. January 24, 2013 — Living Flesh, the first ever live performance from NADER SADEK’s critically acclaimed In the Flesh project will be self-released on February 27th. The November 20, 2011 show featured the original line-up of musicians from the In the Flesh record, as well as two new performers.

May 25, 2011 — In great news for CRYPTOPSY fans, the band has announced that longtime ex-guitarist Jon Levasseur has rejoined the band. Also, longtime bassist Eric Langois has decided to take a break.

June 15, 2008 — CRYPTOPSY recently shot a new video with acclaimed director David Brodsky for the album’s vicious opening cut “Worship Your Demons.” The band’s new album, The Unspoken King, is set for a June 24th release.

February 26, 2008 — Extreme metal titans CRYPTOPSY have been forced to cancel their recently announced tour of South America in March, after drummer Flo Mounier broke his knee cap.
December 5, 2007 — Montreal’s CRYPTOPSY have announced the addition of new members, Matt Mcgachy (vocals) and Maggie Durand (keyboards/samples). The band will enter the studio mid December to record their upcoming sixth album.
