February 5, 2013 — Swedish melodic doom band OCTOBER TIDE have announced their upcoming full-length effort entitled Tunnel of No Light. Comprising of eight sorrowful, doom-laden tracks, Tunnel of No Light sees the band going towards a somewhat more straightforward yet heavier direction but still very much keeping the traditional OCTOBER TIDE sound.

June 30, 2010 — Candlelight Records today confirms September 28 as the North American release date for A Thin Shell, the new album from Sweden’s OCTOBER TIDE. Currently featuring guitarist/founder Fredrik Norrman (KATATONIA), vocalist Tobias Netzell, drummer Robin Bergh, and session bassist Jonas Kjellgren (SCAR SYMMETRY, CARNAL FORGE, CENTINEX), the album is the band’s first in ten years and follows the 2009 reissue of their debut, Rain Without End (Candlelight).
March 24, 2010 — Candlelight Records today confirms the worldwide signing of OCTOBER TIDE. August 27, 2009 — The release date for the new KATATONIA album has gone back slightly. Night is the New Day, is the Swedish masters of melancholy’s eighth studio album and their follow-up to 2006’s groundbreaking album, The Great Cold Distance.
August 14, 2007 — Live Consternation is KATATONIA’s first official live album, recorded August 17, 2006 at the Summerbreeze Open Air Festival in Germany. The release is split between a CD for the audio of the band’s entire set along with a DVD of the performance.
July 5, 2007 — This week two albums by Taiwan’s premier metal act CHTHONIC ”“ dubbed the “BLACK SABBATH of Asia” by their home country’s largest newspaper, and soon to be the first-ever Asian act to take part in Ozzfest ”“ will finally be released in North America.
May 24, 2007 — Sweden’s KATATONIA will return to headline their first American tour this fall. Kicking of September 4, the tour will make nineteen stops around the country and will feature an all European line-up with Sweden’s SCAR SYMMETRY joining up with Finland’s INSOMNIUM and SWALLOW THE SUN.
