August 6, 2009 — Los Angeles’ IT’S CASUAL is Amobea Music’s “Homegrown Artist of the Month” for August. The heavy noisemakers, who will also be featured in the LA Weekly this month, recently released the album, The New Los Angeles.
March 4, 2008 — TURBONEGO have announced the resignation of longtime drummer, Chris Summers. Here’s an official statement from the band: “It is with our deepest regrets to inform you that after his 6 month hiatus due to a damaged foot, personal priorities and a focus on other projects, we have been forced to ask drummer Chris Summers to resign from TURBONEGO.
October 7, 2007 — Norway’s least classiest band, TURBONEGRO, are now three albums strong since their much ballyhooed reunion in 2003. Their latest, Retox, certainly isn’t a return to their filthy deathpunk past, but it’s timeless much like their feel-good-but-feel-naughty rock ’n roll they’ve perfected of late.

March 22, 2007 — LAMB OF GOD, HATEBREED, and LORDI are among the first acts announced to join Ozzy Osbourne on this summer’s “free” Ozzfest. LAMB OF GOD and Finland’s LORDI will take on the mainstage while HATEBREED will be the second stage’s lone headlining act.
