June 25, 2007 — France’s SCARVE forge ahead with their futuristic style of progressive death metal in The Undercurrent. While it’s obvious that the band are influenced by the likes of MESHUGGAH and STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, comparisons at this point are basically irrelevant as SCARVE have carved out their unique sound.

December 21, 2006 — New Jersey’s GOD FORBID will be heading out on the Revolver-sponsored headlining trek, dubbed “The Chains of Humanity” tour with GOATWHORE and MNEMIC. The line-up is rounded out with ARSIS, THE HUMAN ABSTRACT (who will be on the tour from Jan 4th-31st) and BYZANTINE (from Feb 1st-18th).
