January 7, 2010 — The American and Canadian Carnage Tour, featuring SLAYER, MEGADETH, and TESTAMENT, have been cancelled due to SLAYER’s Tom Araya needing to undergo back surgery. Araya began experiencing back problems while on the band’s Australian/New Zealand/Japanese tour last October.
November 18, 2009 — MEGADETH and SLAYER have announced that they will co-headline the “American Carnage” tour. TESTAMENT will be opening all date on the tour. “American Carnage” will kick off on January 18 in Seattle, WA for a 26-date trek across North America that will include the six Canadian dates postponed earlier this month.
August 18, 2009 — Ex-EXODUS vocalist Steve “Zetro” Souza and lead guitarist Glen Alvelais (FORBIDDEN/ex-TESTAMENT) has joined forces with ex-STRAPPING YOUNG LAD members Jed Simon, Byron Stroud and Gene Hoglan in a project known as TENET.
January 29, 2009 — Legendary thrashers, TESTAMENT, will be reissuing two albums, Demonic (1997) and The Gathering (1999) on gatefold double vinyl through Prosthetic Records on Februrary 3rd. Each will feature etched artwork on Side D and be limited to 1,000 copies worldwide.
