KILLSWITCH ENGAGE Commence Recording Third Album

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE have just come off the successful MTV2 Headbanger’s Ball Tour and are now back in the studio recording their follow-up to last year’s acclaimed Alive or Just Breathing album. The as-yet-untitled album will likely have 12-14 tracks. Production is being handled by guitarist, Adam Dutkiewicz, and the tracks will be mixed by Andy Sneap (ARCH ENEMY, NEVERMORE).

Bassist Mike D’Antonio had this to say about the new album:
“As far as the music for the new record goes…over all, the songs are a bit longer, MORE metal than Alive or Just Breathing, and the choruses feel more epic in proportion. Not to mention we have two new players on this record (Howard Jones, vocals, and Justin Foley, drums) who are used to dishing out the brutality (BLOOD HAS BEEN SHED). All in all, this one is shaping up to be a monster.”

The new album will likely see an April or May release through Roadrunner Records. Stay tuned for more information.
