January 20, 2015 — Norwegian black metal pioneers, DØDHEIMSGARD, has completed work on its fifth album, titled A Umbra Omega, which is set for release on March 17 via Peaceville Records.
December 10, 2012 — To further prove that Norwegian black metal is far from dead, NIDINGR take a big leap in progress with their sophomore record, Greatest of Deceivers. The band’s last one, Wolf-Father, was undoubtedly very good but it did not necessarily break new ground.
September 15, 2012 — Norwegian black metal band, NIDINGR, will unleash their new full-length, Greatest of Deceivers, in North America on November 20th. May 27, 2010 — ZWEIZZ, the experimental project of FLEURETY/ex-DØDHEIMSGARD member Svein Egil Hatlevik (aka Hologram, Magic/Logic), has confirmed the release of his collaboration with the late Joey Hopkins simply titled, Zweizz & Joey Hopkins.
February 5, 2009 — Avantgarde black metal band, CODE, are set to release a new album, Resplendent Grotesque, on Tabu Records this spring (date TBD). The band, featuring guitarist Aort, bassist Vicotnik (DHG), vocalist Kvohst (DHG), and drummer Adrian Erlandsson (CRADLE OF FILTH, AT THE GATES), will be making a live appearance at the forthcoming Inferno festival in Norway on April 11th.
January 5, 2008 — Norways’ FLEURETY have completed recording two new tracks, “The Animal of the City” and “Summon the Beasts”, to be released as a forthcoming 7" EP. It’s the band’s first new material to be properly recorded since 1998.
January 5, 2008 — Vocalist Kvost has announced his departure from DHG (formerly DØDHEIMSGARD). His statement reads as follows: “After a pretty tough month and some deep contemplation, I have decided to call it a day and check out of the DØDHEIMSGARD asylum.
September 25, 2007 — Svein Egil Hatlevik has been destroying minds for years in acclaimed Norwegian bands, FLEURETY and DHG. Now he has decided to take it to the next level with his one man band and his first full-length release, The Yawn of a New Age.
