August 30, 2019 — The first song to be released from MAYHEM’s Daemon, entitled “Worthless Abominations Destroyed " has been posted online: The song carries the mystique, mystery, and feel of the band’s early work, specifically, De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas.
December 6, 2016 — Norwegian black metal icons MAYHEM are celebrating the release of their 1994 landmark De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas full-length with tours across the globe. This coming January, the band will march their way across North America performing the record in its monumental entirety.
June 6, 2015 — The last time ARCTURUS released new music, they were not at the top of their game. Sideshow Symphonies was simply not on par with the band’s previous releases.
May 6, 2015 — Former BATHORY drummer turned film and music video director, Jonas Åkerlund, is set to direct the film based on the 1998 book, Lords of Chaos, which covered MAYHEM’s history and the infamous deaths and church burnings in Norway in the early 90’s.
April 1, 2015 — The first song from ARCTURUS’ new album entitled “The Arcturian Sign” has been posted online. The song comes off of Arcturian, the band’s first album in 10 years, which comes out this May.

May 16, 2014 — Three years subsequent to the formation of elite metal project, NADER SADEK, and the release of the collective’s debut album, In The Flesh, the final video from the album has been released.
April 8, 2014 — Visual/performance artist NADER SADEK, who conceptualized the 2011 blackened death masterpiece In the Flesh and its live follow-up Living Flesh, will return to the stage in late May with a string of Canadian and European dates.
February 20, 2014 — Norwegian black metal legends MAYHEM will release their long-awaited new album on May 23rd (May 27th in North America). Entitled Esoteric Warfare, MAYHEM’s fifth full-length will be the follow-up to 2007’s excellent Ordo Ad Chao.

February 6, 2013 — Keyboardist/composer Andy Winter of WINDS and AGE OF SILENCE fame has a new solo album, Incomprehensible, which is available now via The End records. The album features an impressive roster of guest vocalists from MADDER MORTEM, AGALLOCH, GREEN CARNATION, EDGE OF SANITY, PECCATUM, BORKNAGAR, NOVEMBERS DOOM, and WINDS.
January 24, 2013 — Living Flesh, the first ever live performance from NADER SADEK’s critically acclaimed In the Flesh project will be self-released on February 27th. The November 20, 2011 show featured the original line-up of musicians from the In the Flesh record, as well as two new performers.
December 10, 2012 — To further prove that Norwegian black metal is far from dead, NIDINGR take a big leap in progress with their sophomore record, Greatest of Deceivers. The band’s last one, Wolf-Father, was undoubtedly very good but it did not necessarily break new ground.
December 9, 2012 — On Thursday, December 20th, The Power of the Riff presents a massive all-ages event at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles. June 22, 2009 — Sweden’s MARDUK have announced a few U.S. shows following their last minute withdrawal from the Blackenedfest with MAYHEM due to visa issues. These makeup dates will feature support from WITHERED and BLACK ANVIL.
May 29, 2009 — Blackenedfest, a North American tour featuring MAYHEM, MARDUK, CEPHALIC CARNAGE, CATTLE DECAPITATION, and WITHERED has been partially marred by MARDUK’s unexplained absence from the tour. The tour, which kicked off on May 21st, has carried on without MARDUK’s participation.
February 11, 2009 — Blackenedfest has been announced for North America and will feature MAYHEM, MARDUK, CEPHALIC CARNAGE, CATTLE DECAPITATION, and WITHERED. The tour kicks off May 21st in New York.
September 29, 2008 — Index Verlag proudly announces the release of Pure Fucking Mayhem, a MAYHEM documentary by Stefan Rydehed. Pure Fucking Mayhem is an impressive account of the history of this legendary band, clearly focusing on the years 1984-1993 with their tales of unrelenting, brutal black metal and bloody crimes.
