June 17, 2008 — ULVER have posted a cover of Prince’s “Thieves in the Temple,” a track originally released on Prince’s 1990 album, Graffiti Bridge. For the cover, ULVER collaborated with female soul singer and Wyclef Jean protégée, Siri Stranger.
January 10, 2008 — HEAD CONTROL SYSTEM, featuring Daniel Cardoso (ex-SIRIUS) and Garm (ULVER), have posted their cover of SEAL’s “Kiss from a Rose” here. The track was left off the band’s debut album, Murder Nature.
January 5, 2008 — Norways’ FLEURETY have completed recording two new tracks, “The Animal of the City” and “Summon the Beasts”, to be released as a forthcoming 7" EP. It’s the band’s first new material to be properly recorded since 1998.
January 3, 2008 — An ULVER tribute album entitled, My Own Wolf: A New Approach, has been released by Asphyrical Asphyxia to commemorate the Norwegian band’s 15 year anniversary. The 2 CD set has been posted as a free download, and will receive an physical release on May 8th.
