November 13, 2006 — Chicago forward-thinking metal act, YAKUZA, has extended touring plans into December with a string of dates playing alongside the like-minded INTRONAUT. Already teaming up with INTRONAUT for a string of dates with MISERY INDEX and labelmates BURN IN SILENCE, YAKUZA will soldier on for another handful of dates, also meeting up with STRETCH ARM STRONG and VIVISECT along the way.
November 11, 2006 — DIR EN GREY will be returning this Winter for their first headlining tour in the U.S. The tour will kick off February 1st in Ft. Lauderdale, FL at the Revolution followed by an extensive 16 date run across the country.

October 18, 2006 — Montreal’s ION DISSONANCE has found their new vocalist, in replacement of frontman Gabriel McCaughry, who left the band earlier this year. Kevin McCaughey (SHAOLIN, THE LAST FELONY), who was also DESPISED ICON’s session vocalist, has joined ranks.

August 25, 2006 — Former SEPULTURA drummer, Igor Cavalera, reunited with his brother and former bandmate, Max Cavalera, at a recent gig of Max’s SOULFLY band. The show, which took place on August 17th in Tempe, Arizona, was a memorial show for Dana Wells (D-Low), the step son of Max and son of Gloria Cavalera.
